PTFA  - Parents, Teachers and Friends Association

The heart of our school community

Our PTFA is at the heart of our school community. It’s a group of parents, carers, staff and friends of the school who come together to support, fundraise and help make magical things happen for our children.

You don’t have to bake cakes or chair meetings to be involved (unless you want to!) - just bring your enthusiasm, your ideas, or even just a spare half hour. Every little helps, and it all makes a real difference.

What does the PTFA do?

  • Organises events the children love – camp outs, school bonfire, movie nights, and more
  • Raises money for extras that make school even more special
  • Helps out at key school moments - sports day, Christmas, trips, and leavers’ celebrations
  • Brings the school community together - building friendships as well as funds

Why does it matter?

In a small school like ours, the PTFA really can move mountains. Every event, every raffle ticket, every shared idea helps give our children even more opportunities, fun, and memories.

How can you get involved?

Whether you’re a behind-the-scenes organiser or someone who just pops in to help now and then, there’s a place for you. You can:

  • Join the committee
  • Volunteer at an event
  • Share your skills or ideas
  • Come along and support!

It’s a brilliant way to get to know the school, make friends, and feel part of something bigger - especially in those early years when everything is new.
